Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actor, TV presenter, recording artist and businesswoman. Her achievements have been numerous over the course of her professional career. She has also been recognized for her two Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred numerous television series like Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). Mars Ravelos Dyesebel saw her portray the Komiks iconic character Dyesebel. The actress was also host of It's Showtime an afternoon variety show (2009-2020). Anne Curtis (born 17 February 1985) is an Filipina Australian model actress TV host and recording artist. She has been awarded many awards over the course of her career. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards five PMPC Star Awards Television. She was also nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards in the films. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television series such as Hiram (2004 to 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). In 2014, Curtis played the legendary Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she has been the presenter on the popular noontime variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married to Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao in the year 1982. Her older sibling Jasmine was also an actress. Their father was an older half-sister known as Clare, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
